If you have a question, please ask. I'm sure others are wondering the same thing.

Question: How do I brand my business if I do multiple things?

Answer: 1) It's best if you can uniquely blend all the things you do into one strong brand that makes sense to your target audience.

2) If the things you do cannot be combined successfully, then you need to create two completely separate brands and market them separately.

3) You can also focus on one of your business activities first. After you build a strong following with that brand, you can add in the other business activities.

Question: I have a lot of photographs, can you put them together in an artistic way?

Answer: Yes, I have been creating montages of every event I photograph as a way of sharing my images with others.

Question: I'm a lawyer, is there something you can do for me and still fit the conservative, corporate feel that is required for my profession?

Answer: Business is not about blending in, it's about standing out. People don't choose to work with you because you are just like everyone else. I choose to work with people who are creative and doing interesting things.

Question: How do you differ from Peter Montoya?

Answer: Many of the principles I use are similar to Peter Montoya's work. I have been on the Risky Business radio talk show where we both talked about Personal Branding. Peter is a good, knowledgeable guy.

Peter is the best known personal brands expert because he has written two books on the subject. His original company specialized in branding for financial services professionals, so he is very good with traditional, conservative types of clients and his work is very corporate looking. He doesn’t believe in putting your face on the front of all your material. His rates are $5K to $15K for a branding package and you don't work personally with him, but with his employees. His favorite marketing tool is the brochure.

I specialize in working with creative individuals, not with formal, conservative clients. I bring my skills from the art world over to the business world. I have pioneered the digital publicity portrait, which is the basis of my personal branding process. My services are affordable to the emerging artist and you will be working with me personally. My favorite marketing tool is the photo business card.
